So high they sit upon their chair

So high they sit upon their chairs,
So proud they are of their stares,
Lost they are within their care,
See not the reason of their thrones,
Forgotten they have their promised duties,
Serve they must as serve they be,
Flags they not see, every morning before you and me,
Remember they not what they used to be,
Provide they don’t but their selfish needs,
Traveled they have to enchanted dreams,
They sit so high yet they do not see,
All what is there bleeding in misery,
Tears they give, take them away they don’t,
All the promises they made stand lonely with you and me,
Drown us they do everyday in this dirty lake,
Sink we do more now that we know what we see,
How is it that they lie but do not feel?
Have they lost the feeling of being me?
But maybe they see what I do not see,
An act they play in this staged melody,
No matter what happens, await will there a chair for them to sit,
A fool must lead the fools to foolish believes,
So high they sit upon their shiny chairs,
So low they still remain for the thought in me,
So proud they are of their stares,
All I see is them blinking blankly, I see.
