I really don’t ever pick absolute sides. I will take sides when it is necessary to do so, but to an extent. It is so easy to be swept away by our tribal urges that we almost always forget the core of any argument.

And why is it important not to be tribal? Well, I will expand on it a little bit more later in one of the random thoughts episode for The World of Momus Podcast. But the gist is, when you become tribal, your thoughts and actions become compromised. You become a tool for someone else’s agenda. I don’t like being a tool and I think you should detest being one as well.
