Dover Castle

Dover Castle is really fascinating, I went there a long time ago, I think almost 8 years ago and I still remember it. The above are some of the pictures I took at the time. The quality wouldn’t be amazing, it was an old phone.

I think at some point I will do an episode on The World of Momus Podcast about the history of the Dover Castle. It was founded in the 11th century and has been described as the “Key to England” due to its defensive significance throughout history. Some sources say it is the largest castle in England.

Some views of and from the castle. Also a rare picture of me without my beard.

Apart from being used in many battles, it was also used during the world wars and you can see some of those additions.

If you are ever in Dover, make sure to visit it. You won’t regret it.
