No matter how much compassion or empathy or greater good philosophy you guise an ideology as, if it limits basic forms of civil liberty, it is never going to end well. Because it has high potential to do individual harm for the sake of collective good and no collective good can come to its full fruition if the individuals in that collective come under coercive and actual manifested harm.

And this is why kids, communism has never worked and will never worked. Because it is an ideology thought about by people who are free from its application and enforce by those free from all the negative implications.
