It shouldn’t be a shock but it still shocks me to see how disconnected Americans are with the workings of geopolitics that their own country plays in and the benefits it brings to them by the virtue of which they can hold such ignorant views yet be prosperous. Blind privilege.

Just like the Arabs when the underlying basis to which their citizens have little to no contribution evades, they will find out why things matters, why it is important to understand history, and why finding virtue in ignorance is not a good long term strategy for a civilization.

Do not be too arrogant in your existence or that of your kingdom, that you do not take time to see how the world works. Because everyone who rises up, one day falls. And when that happens you better hope you have learn how to do so safely.
