I have no problem with individuals changing their minds, or groups of people, or a religious sect, political party and so on. We are supposed to evolve our thinking with time. What I have a problem with is gaslighting people by saying you always thought this way – and not even acknowledging what and why you thought what you thought before or even care to give an explanation to the evolution within your thought process. That is what I have a problem with, because that shows an inability to accept mistakes and being in a constant disingenuous entrapment by your ego.
