The reason why I prefer engaging and arguing against ideas rather than personalities is because people up to a point are redeemable given that you successfully challenge the wrong ideas and make them see the light so to speak. I have to believe that, otherwise the world will go deeper and deeper into a fractioned divided abyss and regress into eventual non-existence. We must have routes to redemption in our society. I do not want hate to win, I do not want violence to become necessary, I do not want mandates to be normalised, I do not want tribalism to be the end game. I prefer remaining human and I wish to do my part in saving others from becoming a human bot. Little by little. Leading with love.
