A dystopian nightmare starts becoming real when a society has conflicting different versions of reality and one starts getting more traction than others.
You reject your own religion because it is old fashioned, but accept a foreign one, inherently hostile to you because it is progressive to do so? I am not in favour of any religion overall, but that sounds insane to me as it should to you. Beware the enemies within.
No one is perfect. Learn to study/understand history in the context of the times. You are not perfect. So judge accordingly, if you have to, with the fullness of perspective and context. Do not be unjustly harsh unless you wish to be judged likewise in the future.

Immigration is in general bad for any country, if it is not followed up with some form of cultural integration and harmonisation, and that cannot happen if immigration is not controlled according to the capacity of the host nation.
Every adult should have the right to exist as they want, as long as they don't infringe on other's rights or cause harm.
